Memorial Day

Have I ever told you that we love to camp! Or that we love to be in the outdoors? Well if I haven't we do!!! We found the coolest little dip pond in the Ochoco forest. It was stocked with trout! The fishing was awesome, the firends and family were amazing and the weekend; though wet and muddy was perfect as always when we are camping. Here are some pictures!

Easter Camping~

So as most people know we are never doing the "traditional" events for holidays. Not because we want to be difficult but more because we like to touch as many people as we can. So this Easter we got a group of friends together and went camping. This way we could reach a bigger group of people with the real reason for the holiday. It was great. Of course we did an egg hunt for the kids but it was great to know that we had shared the story of Jesus to a group who may not have heard it that day otherwise. I am not saying we did a full formal speech but we talked about what the day ment to the kids and it was great to see how even the parents listened too! So here are some pictures of our weekend.

Park Time

So when we realize that life has quickly passes us by and we haven't seen our good friends the Keegans in a while; we try to set up a play date.... not working the traditional M-F 8-5 has it's advantages for sure. Rebecca, Bailee, and Cole met Kaiden and I at the famous Beetal Bailys in Culver for lunch and then we took the kids to the park for some play time. It was great to get to catch up and watch the kids play together.

Lets just say that it was great to see them and lots of fun to watch the kids play. I love these kids!!!!

Kaiden and her puppies~

After a day of preschool for Kaiden; a few work meetings for me, and Josh putting in a full day on the job we have spent our evening relaxing and enjoying our time together as a family. Kaiden entertained us with some tap/cheerleading dancing and then played with with our beloved dogs. Then as we ate our dinner Kaiden started looking very tired. As wel settled down to watch some family TV. Kaiden and Kaleaha curled up with Josh and quickly fell asleep. Here are a few pictures of our baby girl and her puppies! Good Night all!

Afternoon of fun~

After a great suprise of getting to stay home from work last night; Kaiden and I spent the day in our jammies and just enjoyed the day. We wanted to play outside but the weather was not all that great. We did some house stuff... laundry, dishes, stuff like that then we pulled out the finger paints and painted for a while. We then cleaned up our mess and moved on to coloring. After all way picked up we had a snack.... grapes... and watched Kaiden's favorite show......... America's funnies home videos. After that we pulled out the board games and spend the next hour with the "Candy Land Gang".

Once we battled out who was the candy princess (Kaiden of course). We pulled out the Lego's and started to build. Here is what we came up with. Now that our day of play is over; I better get off of here and dinner finshed so I can get showered and off to work!

~Kaleaha~

Well after Kaiden's first puppy experience which as you can remember didn't turn out well. My grandparents found Kaiden another little puppy to love and to spoil. Kaiden has named her Kaleaha. She is very cute and pictures don't do her any favors but Kaiden loves her.

After only a few short days. Kaleaha is very protective of Kaiden. She doesn' t let her out of her sight. They have been playing for hours and are both worn out. I am so excited to see this smile on Kaiden's face again. She has been so excited to have her "Kaleaha Special" she is my "special dog" mom. I love her!!! So once a gain we are a family of one little girl, three dogs, and one cat.  Life is grand!

They are worn out from playing the day away in the sunshine. Kaiden doesn't nap anymore so these moments of silence at our house are far and few inbetween. Blessings to you all I hope you have a great night!

Happy Birthday Kaiden!

So Kaiden turned 4 on Jan. 24th. It's amazing how fast she has grown. It seems like yesterday that she was crawling and now she is running around the house, has tap dance classes, pre-school, a full vocabulary, her own sence of style and her own opinions! She makes life fun and interesting and always on the move. We held her birthday party at "Bouncing off the walls" in bend. A wonderful place for kids to play. The whole group was exhausted by the time we were done playing.. Kaiden had a great time with all her friends. We had a great turn out and even the adults were tired by the end of the day. Here are a few picutres from the day.

After all was said and done she was blessed with lots of gifts and a sugar high from the cake.  As we drove home I had to stop and think how amazing our life is. We are covered with blessings of family and friends. We have the most amazing gift from God as our daughter. We get to laugh often, live large, and love is all around us. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAIDEN I love you more than you will ever know! I thank God evey day for you!!!
