Kaiden and Maddie!

Yesterday Kaiden and I had a visitor all day! It was so much fun. Baby Maddie as Kaiden calls her was with us while her mom and dad were working. Kaiden loves helping her stay on her blanket.... play with her toys... and eating. She was such a big girl and will be a great big sister someday I am sure of it. We loaded up the excursion and went to redmond. Becca, Baylee, Madisen, Kaiden and I... We ran and did some bills and then we went to Wal Mart and found some new panys for Kaiden which she was so excited about! and some other needed house hold iteams then we all came home. It was a great day. I hope we get to watch Maddie again soon.. She was so much fun! Well here are some pictures from our day of fun!

The last seven days.

Well I have been home for the last seven days and what a great time we have had. Kaiden and I have been to bouncing off the walls in bend. We went on thursday to keep me awake and for us to just have a mom and daughter day. It was so fun. If you have a day and don't know what to do; go there it's way fun for both parents and the kids..... Then friday Kaiden, Anita, Liz and I all went to Tumulo Falls and did some snowshoeing. Well Kaiden was just packed the whole way but it was way fun. What a work out that was. But way fun I hope to go again soon. But I think Kaiden has officially gotten to big for me to pack on my back and do this outdoor things. I have climbed Smith Rock with her on my back and have done lots of hiking and hunting but that snowshoeing trip was the hardest and I don't think I would do that again. So next time she is going to go in a sled or something! Saturday our little girl turned 3! wow what an amazing three years they have been. I only wish they were not going by so fast! We had a large group of people all come together at the new pool here in town. We rented the room at the pool and had cake and ice cream and then everyone swam. It was great! I loved seeing everyone and Kaiden loves the pool so it was a great day. After the pool we went to pizza and then to a friends house to play wii and let the kids play since the weather was not the best to be outside. Sunday we got up and went to Church and it was Kaiden's first day of Kids Zone at church. We played with her during this time so she could get use to it. It was really fun. Then about 2:00 in the afternoon Josh got called into work to plow snow. He worked unitl Midnight. So we thought that he would have monday off but he got called in again.(Not that we are complaining; working right now is a huge blessing and we are very lucky to be able to do so) So Kaiden and I did some laundry and played games and hung our with the dogs at home and waiting for Josh to come home. Tuesday we all; Josh, Kaiden and I packed a lunch and went to play in the snow. Well the dogs played a lot but we eneded up playing in short amounts it was cold. A beautiful blue sky day but chilly... Then the Keegans came over for dinner and we played Wii Fit and it was way fun. Wednesday Kaiden and I went through all her toys and put some away for the next baby, some to good will and some to the garbage. Wow she had a lots of stuff. Then we cleaned the whole house... I love a clean house but HATE to clean! Then the Underwoods came over and we had some dinner and played Wii Fit and visited. I love good friends and good food! Well today we Kaiden has a dentist appointment in Bend so Becca and Baylee are coming with us and then I have to go to work! Well I hope everyone had a great week like we did! Love ya and God bless!

Just another Monday!

Okay so yesterday was supposed to be my day off but I was called and asked to come help out for a couple hours because all heck had broke loose in the OB unit. So I went in at 2100 and was hoping to come home around midnight but I didn't get home until 0600 this morning! Ya I told Josh I would be home in a couple hours.... guess I was wrong. But we at least were able to keep everyone safe and the night ended up turning out okay. What an amazing job I have! You can never know what your hours in the building will bring to you but you are just always on your toes and ready and that is nice. Well I am now very tired and wish that I could get some sleep since I work again tonight. But Kaiden and I are just being lazy now because thats all I can do!

The Weekend!

Well it's Monday already..... Josh and I had a great weekend. We had won a gift raffle from him work for a weekend getaway in Central Oregon. So we spent the weekend in Bend and stayed at the RiverHouse! It was a very nice room and had a great view of the river. We went up there onm Friday night and had dinner at our favorite resturant Shoji's and then went to the room and just relaxed and visited which we don't get to do anymore because with a two year old they do all the talking! Then Saturday we went and had breakfast at the hotel and then went and just walked around bend to different stores and just looked around. We then went to the Sun Mountain Fun Center and played 18 holes of Put Put Golf! That was fun. Then we went to dinner at the Outback and that was so so good! After that we went to the movies and say Marley and Me....... It was so good but you better take your kelix box with you. The movie theater was crying! When we got done there we went to the lounge at the hotel and listened to the live band and visited. What a great atmospher now that there is no SMOKE! I love that we can go out and listent to music and visit with friends and not have to deal with that awful smell!! Then we turned in for the night. It is funny that when we just want to run over to Bend and get one thing and get home we can spend all day over there but when we have all day we couldn't thing of much to do and all we did think of we wanted to have Kaiden with us. I thought really hard all day on Saturday about coming and getting her and keeping her with up for the night! But it was a great time for just Josh and I! Sunday we made it home in time to go get Kaiden and go to Church then spend the afternoon with our good friends the Underwoods for lunch and then joined my large family for my Lil Sis' 24th Birthday party! It was good food and good company but what a busy weekend! Now we are just going to clean house; do laundry; and do some scrapbooking with Spoon! I am so excited

Happy Birthday Jesus!

What a wonderful day this is! I am so happy to be celebrating this day with my daughter and my husband. We have growns so much over the last year and I am so amazed how far we have come. Josh and I have grown so much spiritually and it has been so awsome to see how much Kaiden knows now because of it. You can ask her what Christmas is and she will tell you "its Jesus' birthday! I love it. Of course we are still talking about Santa but Kaiden so did not want anything to do him. We drove all the way to bend on these not so good roads just so we could get a picture of Kaiden with Santa and then she wouldn't even get close!!! It was wonderful!! Anyway Kaiden is excited for tomorrow and the gifts that she will be getting but she is just as excited to eat birthday cake for Jesus which is a tradition that we are starting. Every year we will be singing happy birthday on Christmas as well as opening gifts...... Well I wish you all a great night and hope that you all sleep well... I will post pictures of our day soon.
