My Sunday!

Well as many of you are getting ready for your weekend. I am starting my work week tomorrow so today is my Sunday! Well Kaiden and I went shopping today for her princess party that she was invited to tomorrow night. Kaiden is going to the party as Cinderella! She is so excited and I think it will be fun to watch them all dress up. The party if for Pary's and she is turning three so it should be fun for the kids. Yesterday I joined the gym and am very excited to get in shape again. Jamie and I go together and the kids play in the play room. It worked out great yesterday so we will see how it goes today. Josh is hoping to get home a little early today so we can have a great afternoon. Well I better get going. Hope everyone has a great weekend.:)

Some News.

Well I have worked at MVHD for six years now and I have only been on night shift for one of those year. Well starting in May I am going back to night. I will be training as a House Supervisor. Which is Charge Nurse for the shift. I am excited. It will be different being away from my family at night but we are excited for the change and growth. Kaiden will spend her one day a week with each grandma and then home with Josh and I the other days so her routine won't change which is nice. I will just be at work while she is sleeping and then awake with her. I am sure that it will take a little while to get "normal" but we are hoping it does not take that long. Well that is all the new news that I have. Kaiden and I are cleaning house for my Juice Plus party tomorrow night and then just hanging out. Outside does not look that inviting so I am not to worried about getting out there right away. Well I better get cleaning and laundry done so I will talk to you later.

What a Weekend!

Okay so I have been a slacker.... sorry.I was at a trauma conference for the last three days of the week and that was very informative. It's truely amazing what we can do in the medical business these day. Then Saturday Josh and I and Kaiden did yard work. The underground sprinklers up and running. New one placed to they did not get the new deck we built at the end of last summer. I got lots of flowers planted and Kaiden had so much fun playing in the dirt. I started digging up some areas for my flowerbeds and we got bricks to make them look nice. I am so excited to get it done throughout this week. Then we went to watch my cousin Ty in the Mr. RHS at Redmond High School. What an amazing event. We did not know what to expect but it was great. The coolest thing was that all the money raised during this event went to the Bend NICU (Bend Neonatel Intensive Care Unit). Last year this event totalled $15,000. This year at the end of the night the total was $32,000 and some change... What a great time and was a wonderful cause. Then Sunday I was at the hospital all day taking my ACLS recertification. Josh, Kaiden and his parents and brother all were at the Lake for Gordon's birthday then all of us and my dad went to Shoji's for dinner..... I LOVE THAT PLACE! It was a great eveign. Then we just went home and hung out. Well I better get back to work. I hope that you all had a great weekend also.

Monday All Ready.

Well the weekend is over but to me this is thrusday so I am excited. Weird to have a work week that is different from the normal Monday thru Friday. Work was good this weekend nice and steady so the time went by nice. Josh was so productive it was great. He and Tyler built the gate that I have wanted for like a year. Changed the "Bearings" in the chevy. Moved Tyler's hot tub. Removed a concrete slab at my sisters house which made her so happy. It was nice to see so much done. Last night the hospital had an employee thank you event. The rented the whole Aquatic Center for hospital staff only and through a Luau. It was great. Kaiden loved to swim with her dad, she had so much to show him. She put her own head under the water which was so funny since he had not seen her do that yet. Last night was only the second time he has been able to go to the pool with her. I love watching them play...... Well I better get to work. Hope you all had a great weekend!!!

What a great day!

Today I was busy but what a successful day. I had a Juice Plus+ Lunch and Learn at the Madras Aquatic Center and it was wonderful. Sharing the information of health prevention and nutrition is such a great job! Anyway we watched a great DVD about health and nutrition and how it could help prevent most of the diseases that we are fighting thesedays. Anyway then Kaiden and I went swimming with Lynda and Brooke and it was so fun. Kaiden was hanging from the side of the pool and was slowly putting her own head under water. It was fun because we have been slowly working at it for the last couple weeks and then today she did it all on her own... She is getting so big. Well I better go. Today is my dad's birthday and we are having dinner at Charlies Pizza :)

What a Monday!

The weather outside today looked nice and sunny but it was so COLD! Crazy how that can happen. Kaiden spent the day with her MiMi and PaPa. Josh and I worked all day. I had a great day, the 12 hours went by very quickly the ED was very busy but I learned a lot today. That is what I love about my job. There is not a day that I don't learn something and I have a motto " The day that I stop laughing at work or don't learn something" is the day I need to find a new job. When I got home from work I was welcomed home by a very happy Kaiden and Josh. We made dinner and ate as a family which was great. We are always busy and rarely get to just be us and it was nice tonight. Josh and Kaiden played their normal evening games in the floor. It's crazy how fun it is to just watch them play. Our family day!

What a great day! Josh, Kaiden and I all slept in, which never happens :) Then we had a nice family breakfast and went to church. The service was great and Kaiden actually sat with us instead of going to the sunday school for some reason. She wanted to stay with us, it was nice to have her there with us for sure. We then went and had ice cream with Tyler and Lanisha and Travis and Gordon. Afterward even in the snow we went and built a new kennel for our two puppies. Then cleaned up our large back yard. The dogs had had run of the yard all winter and it was looking pretty haggard but now it looks nice and inviting again. I can't wait until the grass in nice a green and I have all my flower plans done. Well it was a very accomplished day and I loved it. Now we are just sitting as a family watching movies and playing with Kaiden. It is so much fun just spending time together! Well I hope that your Sunday was as nice as ours was!
